Well ... I have officially setup the blog after talking to family and friends who wanted to follow me on the trip. I've been told that we shouldn't have too many problems finding an internet connection most days, so I will do what I can to keep everyone updated!
All I ask of you is ... read and comment! I would love to avoid feeling like I'm writing without anyone actually reading!
We will depart from Chicago tomorrow evening (8:55pm, I believe), so I will update as I can when we land in Germany. You can find a map (click for interactive) on the right side of the page. I can't guarantee that the map is completely accurate regarding the actual places that we will be visiting, but it should give a good general idea.
See you on the flip side! I know we'll have lots of fun, but I'll miss everyone from home and school!

ReplyDeleteIf anyone is reading the comments ... Drew's plane left Chicago about an hour late last night at almost 10 pm ... and they landed in Munich, Germany this morning about 6:30 am Central Time. They had a short layover, and another connecting flight to Dusseldorf, Germany.

ReplyDeleteI know they spent the night in Berlin last night, and it would now be early afternoon there. I think they are 6 hours ahead of us. The choir sings at the United Methodist Church in Berlin on Wed night.

7:00 PM Concert: United Methodist Church-Berlin
(overnight stay at Ramada Hotel Globus)
If I'm right about them being 6 hours ahead of us ... it's about 9:30 am here so it's 3:30 pm there, and they are getting close to dinner and concert time.
