Everything went really well in Berlin! We did a lot of sightseeing on a bus tour, so we saw a lot, but didn't actually DO that much. We stopped at what remains of the Berlin Wall and took pictures which was pretty fun.
We're in Wittenberg now, and so far I think we're enjoying it much more than Berlin. It's a very old German town, so I have lots of cool pictures! Wittenberg is where Martin Luther lived, so there are lots of historic sites.
We've had two concerts so far, and both have gone pretty well! Tonight we had a concert at a local school, and there was another college group (a german club) there that go to a college in Michigan! Small world! Tomorrow we are headed to Dresden for the day.
Instead of typing a bunch, I'm just going to attach some pictures! I'll try to cover the major things that we've done so far, but sorry if I miss something!
My internet here is being very slow and unreliable, so I won't try any more pictures right now. Hopefully these will sort of show what we've been seeing! Hopefully the internet situation will be good in Prague so that I can update more often!
Drew

ReplyDeleteGood to hear the "fun" in your post and know things are going well. The kids have been out of school the last 2 days, and most likely will be again tomorrow due to snow Wed and extremely cold temps today and tomorrow. Then MLK holiday Monday, so almost a week off. Dad & I are off to Vegas Sun-Fri next week, but I'll keep updated on your trip!
ReplyDeleteStay safe and warm!
